“So shiny and new”

Mark Webber won his first ever Grand Prix race! According to the interviewer at the post-race press conference, it took him 27 [or was it 28?] years to finally win a race! Well done!

Anyway, as happy as I am for Mark, I’m sad for Kimi because he had to retire from the race. Oh, Ferrari. *sigh* At least Felipe got a podium finish. Good on him!

Jarno Trulli turns 35 today! And I only knew that because I was listening to AM Mayhem on the radio this morning. Daniel Ong said Jarno’s not a very tall man. Either way, Jarno’s still cool because he has a vineyard.

Speaking of Jarno, there was this woman who came to my school a couple of months back to talk about an organization we had to help out. Then she said something about how the underprivileged kids from the organization had the chance to meet Toyota F1 drivers, Timo Glock and Jarno Trulli. I just broke out laughing there and then because the woman spoke immaculately, with an American accent and all [false or genuine, I haven't a clue], and then suddenly when it came to Jarno Trulli’s name, she goes to say “JARno” instead of “YARno”. Ahahaha!
